4/18/13 - A tornado watch has been issued for Livingston County and the rest of southern Lower Michigan until 6 p.m. Meteorologist Heather Zehr with Livingston Weatherwatch tells WHMI that with a warm front having moved to our north, both dry and very warm and moist air is moving into the area creating conditions that could lead to tornado-like activity later this afternoon. She says the early window for the severe thunderstorms moving through the area will be between 2 and 4pm. Stay tuned to WHMI for the very latest updates and breaking weather bulletins. (JK)
